Eagle Parenting

Why parent like an eagle?  Well, eagles coddle their young until they are ready to venture out on their own.  At that point, the eagle will begin to make the nest less comfortable.  By doing so the mom encourages her little ones to fly on their own and soar.   So far with my boys being 8 months and 3 years old, I am still in the coddling stage of things, but by doing so I hope to help them soar on their own someday.
